About olympiad for students of 4-6 grades, which will be held on March 1

On March 1, 2020, the second round of the Olympiad will be held for students of grades 4-6, which will be held in oral format. This means that we need a lot of professional jury members who quickly know how to understand children's explanations. Therefore, we ask for help from high school students, that is, students of 9-11 grades, especially those who participated in the selection of the Kyiv team for the IV All-Ukrainian Olympiad. But I ask you to solve all this through my teachers, that is, the final list of those we are waiting for help is approved by teachers. Well, it is desirable that they called us earlier to know which of the schoolchildren you can count on.

About appeal

The jury, having consulting with experienced experts – Nomirovsky and Ainkushin, decided to change the criteria for task No. 1 for grades 10-11, namely 5 points for the prescribed coefficient in an unprofessional form. All works have been reviewed and accordingly modified estimates.

Results of selection

Unfortunately, it was not possible to determine the team without an additional tour. 4 participants claim 3 places in the team. So on Wednesday, March 4, an additional tour will be held. Peas (grade 9), Vakhitov and Shandenko (grade 11) and Didur (grade 10) will take part in it. The location of the selection will be further clarified, it will be either the Faculty of Computer Science and Cybernetics, or any of the schools.
