Results of selection for IMO and May IMO team meeting

IMO Results

I can only share my view on the selected team of Ukraine for the 60th IMO and selection. Before the last appeal, I was very pleased with the composition of the future team – not just there were not the Kyivans and Kharkiv citizens themselves, but there were half of them. Finally , there are 1 representative of Kharkiv in the team, 3 from Kyiv (1 of them from the UFML), 1 from Lviv and 1 from Uzhhorod. Spare is a representative of Lviv, who lost only the 6th member of the team on the 3rd additional indicator. I note that if the 5th participant did not get another 1 point on appeal, he lost both the 6th and 7th on additional indicators… such a fierce struggle turned out to be a very equal selection among strong equal participants.

I personally really liked both the composed text and the work of the jury. There were quite a few appeals, most were reasonable. The results are already in the table, and the conditions of the selection tasks – this and the previous one, which was in the fall – will be printed in our printed literature.
