From March 26 to March 30, the team of students of Ukraine took part in the open Belarusian Republican Olympiad in mathematics for the second time. The Olympiad was attended by seven teams of the best students from each region of Belarus, the Moscow team and our team.
The leaders and accompanying team were Kucherenko Anastasia and Yakovlev Ivan, students of The Kiev National University. etc. Shevchenko.
Last year's report on the All-Ukrainian Olympiad mentioned that it has a slightly different format from the Ukrainian competitions. The main difference is that the students do not know any results until the day of reviewing the work. And until the closing of the Olympiad and the award ceremony, the participants did not know what places they would receive.
In the end, all the members of our team performed as best they could: they received only the first diplomas and personal praise from one of the main members of the Belarusian jury of Igor Ivanovich Voronovich!
In the eighth grade, Naumets Zakhar and Zolotariov Klimentiy showed the first and second absolute result, overtaking all the other participants. They were also the only ones who solved the combinatorical problem on the graphs. In the ninth grade, Yuriy Gladkov took the fifth absolute place, and Mykhailo Shandenko took the first absolute place with the maximum number. Protsyk Maksym took the fourth or most significant place among the tenth graders.

After the first round of the Olympiad, the team visited the National Art Museum. We got acquainted with the unique collection of works by Belarusian, Russian and European artists.
The next day, we were acquainted with the IT center of Belarus – high technology park, as well as the National Library, which is one of the largest in the world!
On the day of viewing the works, students also organized an entertainment and science quest with logical puzzles, physical and chemical performances.
Finally, even on the last day after the closure and after we were brought to the station, the organizers once again carefully met us and entrusted us with four volunteers and candidate of historical sciences Oleg Genadievich, who conducted a personal tour of the city for us.
We also really want to thank the care of the organizers and the jury, as well as everyone who made this trip possible.
