Ukraine national team selection for IMO

According to the results of the IV stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Mathematics, 15 participants of the selection for the IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad) in 2017 were selected. For 4 rounds of selection, which will be held in the IMO format – 3 tasks for 4.5 hours in each round – the top 6 will be selected, which will represent our country in July this year in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

The selection is scheduled from April 26 to May 2, 2017 on the basis of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Selection agenda

April 26 (Wed)

10.00 – 14.00 arrival and settlement of participants (10) and jury members (5) not from Kyiv;

14.30 – lunch for non-Kyivans (15);

15.30 – meeting with the participants of the selection

19.00 – dinner (15).

April 27 (Thu)

9.00 – breakfast (15);

10.00 – 14.30 Writing of the 1st round;

14.30 – lunch (25);

19.00 – dinner (15).
