From February 22 to February 27 in the city. Bucharest (Romania) hosted the 9th International Mathematical Olympiad "Romanian Masters of Mathematics 2017". The Ukraine national team has already participated in this prestigious competition for the first time. This year's competitions were attended by more than a hundred participants, including 9 representing our country:
Oleg Rudenko, Nikita Vepryk, Roman Sarapin, Fam Viet, Sean Nho (Kharkiv Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 27), Olga Shevchenko (Academic Gamnasiya No. 45 m. Kharkiv), Arseniy Nikolaev (Kyiv Natural Science Lyceum No. 145), Vsevolod Reshetnikov (Kyiv-Pechersk Lyceum No. 171 "Leader"), Anton Trigub (Gymnasium "Academy", m. Kyiv).
The team leaders were Andriy Ankushin and Nastya Lysakevych. The national team arrived in Bucharest by plane on the evening of February 22. Between the tours, our team decided to dispel a little and we all went for a little walk in Bucharest together
On February 26, after coordinating and adopting the final results and waiting for the solemn awarding, we went for another walk
Below are the results of our team members:
However, the flight was "slightly" delayed for 7 hours due to technical malfunctions of the aircraft, so we had as much fun as we could
It is especially a pity for Oli Shevchenko that for the second time in a row he cannot "without adventure" get home from Romania. Last year, after EGMO – 2016, we even had to change our ticket and fly through Istanbul because airport workers "found problems" with documents whose nature we have not yet understood.

Fortunately, after exhausting hours of waiting, we still returned to Kyiv intact and unharmed.
We hope that the performance at the "Romanian Master of Mathematics – 2017", training on complex tasks, will help our participants to represent Ukraine with dignity at this year's IMO in Brazil.
