Ukraine's performance at romanian masters of mathematics 2017

From February 22 to February 27 in the city. Bucharest (Romania) hosted the 9th International Mathematical Olympiad "Romanian Masters of Mathematics 2017". The Ukraine national team has already participated in this prestigious competition for the first time. This year's competitions were attended by more than a hundred participants, including 9 representing our country:

Oleg Rudenko, Nikita Vepryk, Roman Sarapin, Fam Viet, Sean Nho (Kharkiv Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 27), Olga Shevchenko (Academic Gamnasiya No. 45 m. Kharkiv), Arseniy Nikolaev (Kyiv Natural Science Lyceum No. 145), Vsevolod Reshetnikov (Kyiv-Pechersk Lyceum No. 171 "Leader"), Anton Trigub (Gymnasium "Academy", m. Kyiv).

The team leaders were Andriy Ankushin and Nastya Lysakevych. The national team arrived in Bucharest by plane on the evening of February 22. All schoolchildren – participants of the competition lived in a student dormitory of the Academy of Economics, almost in the center of the Romanian capital. On the first day of the Olympiad, participants rested and had the opportunity to listen to a lecture at the University of Bucharest, and the team leaders got acquainted with the conditions, adopted the text of future competitions and translated them into Ukrainian. V Olympiad of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv for students of 4-6 grades

Responsible jury member for the 4th grade – Anastasia Andreychuk. The jury is based on students of the 2nd year of applied mathematics and other high school students. The jury meets at 9:30 a.m. in 2050.

Responsible jury member for the 5th grade – Yulia Tikhonravova. The jury is based on students of the 1st year of applied mathematics. The jury is going to 9:30 a.m. in 305 audiences.

Responsible jury member for the 6th grade – Daryna Ishchuk. The jury is based on students of the 1st year of computer science. The jury meets at 9:30 a.m. in 305 meh-mat audiences.

The Olympiad will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Mathematical Faculties of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv at Glushkov Avenue 4 d, e. All participants should find an audience in which the Olympiad will be held for you.

The letter "K" next to the audience number means the Faculty of Cybernetics, the letter "M" means meh-mat.

Jury 4 class – 205 audience meh-mat;
5th grade jury – 305 audience of cybernetics;
jury 6 class – 305 audience meh-mat.

Parents should not accompany their children to classrooms.

Selection of Kyiv team for the IV stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Mathematics

The following rounds of selection of kyiv team for the IV stage are selected:

Sunday, February 12th, at 10.00;

Sunday, February 19, at 10.00;

Sunday, February 26, at 10.00.

The tours will be held in the audience of 39 (8th and 10th grades) and audience of 43 (9th and 11th grades) of the Faculty of Computer Science and Cybernetics of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The audience for the jury is 221.

Appeals will be held on Tuesday, February 21 and 28 in an audience of 221 faculty of computer science and cybernetics at 3 p.m.

Upon completion of the second appeal at the jury meeting on February 28, the selection summary will be summed up. That is, either a fully formed team or an additional 4th round will be appointed for this purpose to determine it finally.
